Biking and Jogging
 The
Byway accommodates a designated 4'-wide shoulder on both sides of the
13-mile roadway from Spearfish to Savoy for biking and jogging activities.
The route is acclaimed as one of the nation's Top-50 scenic bike paths
by "Bicycling Magazine." Many special promotional events bring
hundreds of bikers and joggers to the area, so travelers are cautioned
to be guarded by the interface of multiple users. Bicycle rentals are
available from the Spearfish Canyon Lodge at Savoy and Spearfish outlets.
